The Postgraduate Programme proudly announces that two of its distinguished academic staff, Prof. Ir. Waluyo Adi Siswanto, M.Eng., Ph.D. and Prof. Ir. Tri Widodo Besar Riyadi, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., have been awarded multiyear research funding from the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) for the 2026 fiscal year.

Prof. Waluyo’s research focuses on structural mechanics and fracture propagation in construction materials, aiming to enhance durability and safety standards in concrete material applications. Meanwhile, Prof. Tri Widodo’s project advances applied material science, specifically the development of bullet-resistant ceramic composite panels with Ti-Al-Ni alloy matrices, a breakthrough with significant implications for defense and industrial innovation.
This achievement highlights the Postgraduate Mechanical Engineering Programme as a hub for impactful research that bridges theory and practice, while also strengthening Indonesia’s contribution to global scientific advancement.
