ICOAMS2025, the 8th International Conference on Advanced Materials Science, was held on 28–29 August 2025 in Surakarta, hosted by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS).
Theme:
Emerging Technologies in Materials Science: Pioneering Solutions for Global Challenges
The conference highlights breakthroughs in quantum materials, bio-inspired systems, and AI-driven design. The event was conducted in a hybrid format—online via Zoom and offline at the Siti Badliah Meeting and Discussion Room, Library UMS, bringing together global researchers and practitioners. A special keynote address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ir. Sulistyo from Universitas Diponegoro, a leading figure in advanced materials research especially in fuel cell.

The conference opens with a speech by Prof. Dr. Ir. Sarjito, Chairman of ICOAMS2025. All accepted papers will be published in Materials Science Forum, indexed by Scopus, ensuring high academic visibility. Organized in collaboration with Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur, Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia, and the Indonesian Association of Mechanical Engineering Programs, ICOAMS2025 reflects UMS’s commitment to global research excellence and authentic scholarly representation.
