The Postgraduate Mechanical Engineering Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) proudly announces that Prof. Ir. Sarjito, M.T., Ph.D. has been selected as one of the distinguished recipients of the RISPRO Invitasi Berkemaajuan 2025 grant. This national award highlights his dedication to advancing renewable energy solutions and his commitment to impactful research that benefits society at large.
Prof. Sarjito’s funded project, titled “Pengembangan Sistem Turbin Angin Vertikal Berdaya Rendah untuk Pompa Air Pertanian di Daerah Tadah Hujan dan 3T Menuju TKT 7,” focuses on developing low-power vertical wind turbine systems to support agricultural water pumping in rain-fed and underdeveloped regions. The project is expected to reach Technology Readiness Level (TKT) 7, marking a significant milestone in applied engineering innovation.
This achievement reflects the program’s commitment to advancing sustainable technologies and empowering communities through mechanical engineering research.
