This photo documents a pivotal meeting held on 30 September 2025 between Mechanical Engineering Postgraduate Programme, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) and Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Ronggolawe (STTR), hosted by the Postgraduate Mechanical Engineering Programme at UMS. The purpose of the meeting was to initiate a strategic academic partnership aimed at upgrading the academic qualifications of STTR’s mechanical engineering programme by facilitating their enrollment in UMS’s Doctorate Program in Mechanical Engineering. The discussion included a proposal to involve STTR’s existing Doctorate holders as co-promotors, fostering a collaborative supervision model that strengthens both institutions’ research ecosystems.
This initiative aligns with UMS’s commitment to academic excellence and capacity building across Indonesian higher education, while supporting STTR’s transformation into a leading institution in Cepu. The collaboration also reflects a shared vision for advancing engineering education through structured doctoral pathways, interdisciplinary research, and sustainable academic mentorship.
