In celebration of the 67th Milad of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), the Faculty of Engineering proudly recognized three outstanding postgraduate mechanical engineering staff for their exceptional academic achievements and contributions to institutional excellence.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Tri Widodo Besar Tiyadi, a senior academic in the Mechanical Engineering Postgraduate Programme, was honored with the award for “Jumlah Sitasi Tertinggi Bidang Sains, Teknologi dan Kesehatan Tahun 2025”. This recognition reflects his remarkable citation record and scholarly influence across national and international research platforms. His work continues to elevate UMS’s academic visibility and impact in the fields of science and technology.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Dwi Anggono, the academic staff in the Mechanical Engineering Postgraduate Programme, received a prestigious award for being the most prolific author of Scopus-indexed papers "Dosen dengan jumlah paper terindeks Scopus sebagai penulis terbanyak tahun 2025, untuk kategori bidang Sains, Teknologi dan Kesehatan" His work continues to inspire collaborative research and elevate the university’s reputation in the global academic community.
Dr. Ir. Agus Yulianto, also from the Mechanical Engineering Postgraduate Programme, received dual honors this year. He was awarded “Periset dengan Kinerja Terbaik Bidang Sains dan Teknologi Tahun 2025” for his consistent research productivity and dedication to scientific advancement. In addition, Dr. Agus achieved a significant career milestone with his promotion to the academic rank of Lektor Kepala since the 21st of June 2025, affirming his leadership and scholarly commitment within the university.
These awards were presented as part of the Universitas Muhamamdiyah Surakarta's annual appreciation program, which celebrates faculty excellence in research, academic leadership, and institutional impact. The recognition not only affirms the individual accomplishments of Prof. Tri Widodo , Prof. Agus Anggono, and Dr. Agus Yulianto but also highlights the strategic strength of UMS’s postgraduate mechanical engineering programme's in fostering high-impact scholarship and global academic engagement.
