In an effort to deepen public understanding of the sacred rituals of Hajj and Umrah, KBIHU Aisyiyah Surakarta continues its weekly program titled “Hajj & Umrah Guidance”, open to the general public. This week’s session was held on Sunday morning, October 19, 2025, from 06:00 to 08:00 AM at Gedung Aisyiyah, located at Jl. Imam Bonjol No. 39, Kepatihan, Surakarta.
The event featured a distinguished speaker, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Marwan Effendi (academic member of postgraduate mechanical engineering programme), who delivered a presentation on “The Procession of Hajj & Umrah Worship”. His talk emphasized the importance of spiritual readiness, mental preparation, and technical knowledge for prospective pilgrims to perform their worship with sincerity and in accordance with Islamic teachings.
This guidance session is part of KBIHU Aisyiyah Surakarta’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible religious education every Sunday morning at the same venue. The program aims to equip future pilgrims with a comprehensive understanding of the rites, pillars, and spiritual values embedded in the Hajj and Umrah journeys.
