The Postgraduate Programme in Mechanical Engineering at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta proudly congratulates Dr. Ir. Agus Yulianto, S.T., M.T. on his outstanding achievement in securing competitive research funding from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) under the prestigious RIIM-Kompetisi (Riset dan Inovasi untuk Indonesia Maju) program, Wave 10.
Dr. Agus Yulianto’s research proposal, titled:
Innovation of Hybrid-Based Brake Disc Materials: Combining Cast Iron and Carbon Fiber to Enhance Braking Efficiency with an Environmentally Friendly Approach
was selected for its strategic relevance, technical innovation, and potential impact on sustainable transportation technologies. This recognition reflects Dr. Agus’s dedication to advancing applied mechanical engineering research and his commitment to contributing to Indonesia’s industrial and environmental goals.
This achievement also reinforces UMS’s vision to become a globally recognized institution in research and innovation, especially in the field of advanced materials and green engineering.
