Postgraduate Mechanical Engineering at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) proudly announces that Prof. Ir. Tri Widodo Besar Riyadi, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., Dr. Agus Yulianto, S.T., M.T., and Prof. Ir. Waluyo Adi Siswanto, M.Sc., Ph.D. have been awarded highly competitive research funding under the Skema SINERGI dan Ajakan Industri Tahun Anggaran 2026.
The funding is administered by the Direktorat Hilirisasi dan Kemitraan (DHK), part of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). DHK is tasked with advancing the downstreaming of research results (hilirisasi) and strengthening partnerships between academia, industry, and government to ensure that research outcomes deliver tangible societal and commercial impact.
The three awardees represent the excellence of Postgraduate Mechanical Engineering UMS in producing impactful research:
- Prof. Tri Widodo – recognized under the Skema SINERGI – Hilirisasi Riset Komersial.
- Dr. Agus Yulianto – awarded under the Skema Hilirisasi Riset Prioritas – Ajakan Industri.
- Prof. Waluyo Adi Siswanto – also awarded under the Skema Hilirisasi Riset Prioritas – Ajakan Industri.
